Lunar towable light tower on a muddy civil construction site at night, lighting the whole area

The Lunar range

One anti-glare LED design, sized to your site

From a one-person portable stand to a towable tower. The same even, anti-glare daylight, rated 50,000 hours, in the format your site needs.

The Lunar range

One anti-glare design, four formats

Same even, anti-glare daylight and the same 50,000-hour head across the range. Pick the format your site needs.

1710W LED Lunar Light on a portable tripod stand

For tight & indoor jobs

1710W · Portable tripod

One-person stand. Carries in as two cases, plugs into mains, packs down small.

2550W LED Lunar Light on a self-powered trolley

For yards & tight access

2550W · Self-powered trolley

Fits where a trailer will not. Carries its own diesel, or runs off mains indoors.

2550W LED Lunar Light on a towable tower

For big open sites

2550W · Towable tower

Tow it in, raise the 7.5 m mast and leave it. About six days on one tank.

4800W flagship LED Lunar Light tower

For whole-site coverage

4800W · Flagship tower

The biggest head, 8 segments for finer aim. Lights 20,000 m² from one tower.

  • Daylight colour
  • 360° around, 180° top to bottom
  • Fully dimmable
  • Retrofits to your gear
  • 50,000-hour life

Which one

It comes down to one question

All four make the same anti-glare daylight. The choice is really about whether a trailer can get onto your site.

A trailer can get in

Both towers are the same trailer with a different head. A 7.5 m hydraulic mast, its own diesel, and a silenced cabinet at 58 dB or less at 7 m, so they can work near housing. The 2550 runs about six days on a tank. The 4800 lights twice the ground for half that time.

2550W Tower4800W Tower

It has to fit through a gate

The trolley pushes in on solid rubber tyres and brings its own diesel, or lifts in on four craneage points. The tripod carries in as two cases and runs off mains, with no engine, no fuel and nothing to service.

Common to all four: 5600K daylight, 230 lm/W, 50,000-hour life, rigid polymer diffuser, 360° around and 180° top to bottom. Run times marked with a tilde are calculated from tank capacity and fuel consumption.

Why anti-glare

See the work, not the glare

Conventional towers blind you with hot-spots. Lunar's patented head spreads even, anti-glare daylight across the whole area, so crews see fine detail through a long shift without the dazzle.

Even, not blinding

Diffused, uniform light over the whole site. No hot-spots, no eye strain over a long shift.

Aim it where the work is

5 to 8 independent segments direct the light a full 360° around, or focus it on one zone.

Fewer towers, less fuel

230 lm/W efficacy puts more light on site from each unit, so you run fewer of them.

Retrofits to what you own

The head mounts to conventional towers, poles, plant and machinery, not only Lunar gear.

What it costs to run

One tank. Days, not hours.

A light tower that needs refuelling every night costs you a call-out every night. These run for days on a tank, and the tripod runs on nothing at all.

The 2550W tower runs twice as long as the flagship

Same trailer, same 130 litre tank, same Kubota engine. The only difference is the head, and the lighter one burns half the fuel. If your site does not need a million lumens, the 2550 tower is not the cheaper choice. It is the one that stays out there longer.

The trolley's 26 hour run time is published on its specification sheet. The tower figures are calculated from tank capacity and quoted fuel consumption. Consumption is measured at a mechanical load of 2.75 kW for the trolley and 2550W tower, and 3.58 kW for the 4800W. Real run time varies with output setting, load and conditions.

Built to work anywhere

It goes up

Raise it high over the site

The head does not sit on the ground. It rides up a telescoping mast to light a whole site from above, so one unit covers what would take several floods at ground level.

9,161 m² lit from a 5 m mast, drone-measured

Up to 7.5 metres

Both towers raise to 7.5 m on a six-section hydraulic mast. The trolley reaches 5.5 m on a pneumatic one.

Four stabiliser legs

Heavy-duty legs level and steady the unit on rough ground. Hydraulic operation optional.

Even light from height

Lit from above, the anti-glare spread reaches the far corners with no hot-spots.
